I’m Brian Matthews, owner and operator of Victoria Blinds, which I run alongside my wife Vicky.

I spend much of my time fitting our window furnishing products into homes and offices, which means that I get to spend time in the company of some of our wonderful customers.

When I’m not installing or making blinds, I like to spend time with my family, having games nights and getting out for walks. I love socialising, catching up with friends and playing the occasional game of golf (although I spend more time searching for the ball than hitting it).

I’d always wanted to play the guitar and recently set myself a challenge of learning to play Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ before my 50th birthday – mission accomplished!
